Very Disappointing I bought this because it supports USB and SD memory for MP3 playback. I have been plugging my MP3 player in manually and wanted MP3s without having to stop the player every time I turn off the car. What worksIt has a nice radio with touchscreen controls. Digital stations will include station name title and artist info while the song plays though the text is pretty small. It also plays most of the DVDs I have tested though I have not tried any external monitors on it yet. The main screen DOES show DVDs if you have the parking brake set. legal requirementWhat doesn't workThe manual claims to support USB and SD cards up to 32 GB. I have tried dozens of times and could barely get them to support anything at all. Anything more than a few dozen MP3 files and it just locks up. The screen display for USB and SD cards looks like a spreadsheet. Bright washed out text with no album art or graphics of any sort. You can select random mode shuffle but the player will forget this setting when the car is turned off and on again. Overall the USB/SD playback functions are USELESS and that was the point of me getting this unit. The clock has a TINY display sets itself from digital FM stations if available but does not keep time and will tell the wrong time more often than the right one. The other night at about 830 I manually set the clock and when I came back three hours later the clock display was gone and manually checking it showed 8347 . probably a good reason to turn itself offSo I'm out of luck with the built in MP3 player. At least there is a front A/V jack I can plug into.. I tried it and it is dead as a doornail. Will not work no sound will play when selecting A/V input. NOT Nice. The shame of it is that most of these problems are software issues. The hardware works well enough except maybe the lack of a realtime clock chip. The singleDIN size of the unit is great and the unit LOOKS nice enough when playing radio or DVD material. It's just useless for anything else.
