Good indash for the money This is a nice Indash. I bought mine a week ago. It has all the stuff mentioned in the title but the only problem I had was that the USB doesn't work with an ipod. The screen is motorized giving it several angles. When car turns off and then back on It remembers DVD movie position and screen angle. The menu screen is stock it shows icons that the system is even capable of but youll get use to ignoring them. I think u can add tv with a tuner. the Bluetooth is great connects to phone right when you get in car. Overall a good system and will give your speakers a working.Good for the price.

Not that great I used for 3 months and then sold it. It was good for watching movies and that was about it. Picture quality was awsome. Sound quality was poor to moderate. Was not very touch responsive and the USB port did not work. Face plate wiggled when ever you pushed the buttons on the bottom I was always afraid of breaking it. I also bought 2 Boss subwoofers and a Boss amplifier Those were both great buys. Boss is a good company for car audio just stay away from their head units.
very pleased for price just had my radio professionaly installed.Seems to work great.bought it for my sons 98 pathfinder really looks good.I know there has been bad reviews on this product but hopefully thats from poeple installing it thereselves.So for works great will update if have any problems.
Love it to death Boss BV8966B InDash 7 DVD/MP3/CD Receiver with USB SD Card Bluetooth and Front Panel AUX Input Okay reading the reviews before purchasing this receiver i was skeptical but didn't think you can go wrong with a DVD player less than 200 dollars. should have stayed skeptical. after a couple months of purchasing the unit the screen has gone to black and white only along with some of the other problems that other consumers have had. after talking to Boss customer service this morning they will have me send it inAmazon was no help along with a 20 dollar money order to return ship the receiver AFTER the estimated 46 weeks repair or replacement time. One would think that if a product is deemed defective only a 1/4 of time into its warranty period manufacturer should cover all costs NOT BOSS.PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
radio volume increasing by itself I don't know why but I have a system connected to my 00 accord sedan and the radio volume on the boss bv8966b increases by itself more and more and more after the bass is hitting i checked my wiring it looks good on how its connected but this is very annoying I cant listen to my music in a steady volume and on the aux source it shows where you can fix the treble sound the bass and volume and balancing the sound sides and fading it but then in a few seconds it goes onto a blue screen and says no video signal. so I'm trying to find out what is the problem to this specially mainly the volume increasing by it's self.
Nice Unit too bad BOSS won't stand behind there product.. I Bought and installed the unit in Oct 2010 everything worked fine. Now 15 months later the screen is no longer working.Just a white screen. Called BOSS it's out of warranty and they want $110 to repair. $110 repair for a $169 unit? There customer service didn't offer a solution other than that.I dont really like to post negative reviews but it looks like BOSS just earned one.

What Navigation Why would anyone advertise a radio as a navigation unit if they don't include the map software? In addition to that they don't even say where you can get the map software what kind is required and/or how much it cost? This must be some kind of schlock retailer that slid past Amazon's qualification.

my rating for it is ehhhit's an ok unit I have had the clarion in dash unit for about a month now and i like it but it has many minor issues that irritate me a lot. i hate that the display mode changes whenever the volume is adjusted i prefer to have my display set to show the song title whenever the screen is closed instead of the track number and length. i wish the volume when you turn your car ignition on would GRADUALLY increase instead of resume at the previous volume since it literally takes about 10 seconds for music to resume and it catches you by surprise at least that's the case when using a USB. i absolutely hate that when i add new songs onto my track listing via USB the unit reorders my track listings so whenever i sync a full album to USB the first half of the album track listing is listed AFTER the last half sometimes. i dont understand why it does that but it's annoying because i cant just listen to the album in its original track listing order. i am also curious on how i can reorder songs on the unit in alphabetical order or some sort of customized order. as far as the bluetooth i havent had any issues with it i like it. takes a while to sync contacts though. the Navigation works good in Hawaii but i have trouble inputting exact addresses because it tries to guess which letters you want to select next after you input half of the actual word and sometimes it doesnt list an option that matches your actual address. that happens a lot when i try to type in the house number as well. i paid $800 for mine because Hawaii is overpriced but i think it's only worth about $400 to $500. 3 stars. Great deal for the price Great improvement! We had the previous model which did not have iphone integration. This unit supports it as well as providing a phone dial menu and full bluetooth support including music as well as contacts and phone log.Sound is good. We had one small problem with space of deck and wire harness but this was solved with a deck spacer which pushes the deck about 1/2 inch out of dash problem solved.GPS is okay suitable for most uses. Wish more frequent updates. Spent 1/2 day installing spent the next 1/2 uninstalling I was really excited to get this unit and did 'some' research and talked with the various vendors and decided it was time to pull the trigger. I figured at $499 down from $799 it had to be the 'real deal' as far as quality and features. Well I was wrong. Excellent system for showcar I purchased this system for my 1971 Corvette back in Sept of 2010 and just got around to installing it. I paid much more at that time than it is going for now but it's still a great value. I use my GPS frequently to get to out of the area car show sites and to find resturants gas stations etc. and it has been flawless. I've never tried to find a Lowes but all else seems to be there. I'm not a great installer but this was straight forward and the wiring diagrams are easy to follow with colored wires to match up with even my older wiring. I also purchased the Sirus radio add on as well as a Pyle backup camera and they too went in easy and everything worked the first time. I had to locate both the GPS and Sirus antena modules on my dash but they work fine thru the windshield. Lots of info on line about it and the installation tricks.. Terrible System Terrible. Nz500 review Well i am happy with this unit although like everyone else i to have some issue's with this unit. Clarion NZ500..not worth the money Bought the Clarion NZ500 about a month ago and quite frankly it is not worth the money. The most aggravating points about the unit are the fact that the Navigation system is very difficult to use and would get lost in a turnip patch. Secondly if you use this unit on a sunny day it will virtually be a blank screen from the drivers seat. The screen virtually disappears if you wear polarized sun glasses as well. It works well with the iPod has good sound quality but the menu's are difficult to understand and worse to navigate especially if you can't see the screen. I originally looked at a Pioneer double din unit and wish now I had installed that instead. The Bluetooth function works very well from my limited use and connects perfectly with my Sanyo cell phone including the contact list and MP3 media. In summary my main beef is with the GPS unit and the fact that the screen is terrible on a sunny day. The Clarion NZ500 has it all! The Clarion NZ500 has it all built in Navigation and Bluetooth iPod and iPhone connectivity HD Radio ready Rear Vision Camera input rear USB connector and Sirius ready. I had it installed in a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It looks good sounds good and has a crisp clear picture. I'm extremely happy with it. Clarion NZ500 The radios does perform well. The only problem I found was with the Bluetooth firmware which need to be updated if you are using an iPhone hence need to do so asap. Also after the update you may find that at times the Bluetooth will pick up an incoming call the music will still be playing while you're on the phone just hit the reset button in front of the unit. You will need to redo your stations that's all. Bottom line if you're OK with the occasional reset this unit delivers an excellent sound great navigation info and anything close to this model would be at least couple of hundreds more.

Nice for the Price This Double Din workday real good. The fault there is a little static when Ipod is on the loop. Other than that gray light great sound. For the price you pay for it this item is very good. It has upgraded since the last one I bpuht in 2009. It is an easy set up. Well it works like it should picture is very clear and crisp sound is GREAToh yeah it is made by Pyle yes and it is pretty nice for the price being under 200 bucks.I also bought the koolertron backup camera SWEEEEET it was 18 bucks here on amazon . The only thing the manual does not tell you about a few wires and where they go or what they do??/such as IR in A/D A/D grnd and the reverse wire.I did not use any of those and the unit is great right out of the box. Packing was good too.If I had another vehicle that did not already have a in dash dvd player I would buy another.for great sounds and playing vids or even if you wanted to hook up a game system you can as it has audio and video inputs. Overall great value Well I just installed it today and for the price it is a great stereo. The installation manual was no help oh wait thats right there WASN'T ONE! You'll have to just go off of your old stereo and just match up color to color.After it was all hooked up the DVD had no picture because of the safety in it so you can't watch a movie while you drive. So again with no installation manual it was trial and error to get the picture to come up was finally able to figure it out. In the source menu there are alot of options such as bluetooth but I couldn't figure it out! There is a Mic on the front of the stereo but have not been able to get the bluetooth function to work. If there is no bluetooth function then don't put a bluetooth function icon in the menu. Other than that the picture quality for the DVD is great and the sound quality is excellent! Overall it is a great buy. hey Pyle Stereo Great stereo for the price. Decent picture and sound. But when attached to ipod there is a substantial amount of background noise and could def use a few extras like some sort of visualization to accompany the music.
