Pyle PLDNV8I Was looking for a double din radio for months and finally end up on amazon the pyle double din is one of the best double din on the market everything works as i expect love the GPS tells you when there is a camera at the inter section and also have the ability to tell you if you are driving over the speed limit the 7 screen was my idea since i didn't want to have any buttons on the side. great radio for the price. I have this radio installed in my 2000 bmw 323 looks great and works great .
Bang for buck Great bang for buck.Pros has a lot of features.First 2 units I received one for car one for truck were bad & had to be exchanged. Thanks to Amazon for fast turn around 2 days. One had a bad DVD player bad disc with any dvd I put in. Also had a hi pitched whine on the bluetooth source. Wouldn't go away unless I turned the car off & back on then quickly changed sources. Second unit would constantly open the motorized screen & continue running the motor non stop. Frustrating since I had to spend several hours trouble shooting & removing the units.Received the 2 replacement units overnight shipping thanks again Amazon and installed them. Some minor quirks but over all good. Installed the 1st in my truck the ipod cable sometimes doesn't play right channel audio. Have to squeeze the adapter & wiggle it. The 2nd installed in my wifes car the 4gb sd card for gps was bad on arrival. Luckily I had ordered 2 & copied the software from the 1st sd card onto my laptop. Then bought a new card at Walmart also 4 gb and pasted the information onto the new card. Put it in & good to go.I'll be contacting the manufacturer for a replacement ipod cable and sd card. Will also be asking about the map updates as all updating I have attempted thus far failed.EditI still haven't contacted the manufacturer for replacement of the defective items. I'll be doing that Monday.Additional information this was my first in depth DIY car audio/video install. I ended up around 15 hours per vehicle. This involved the head unit door & dash speakers/tweeters rear view camera subwoofer under seat & custom dash aux inputs RCA for video 1/8 stereo for audio. If you have some electronic knowledge & are patient this isn't a terrible DIY project. If you aren't electronically knowledgeable & a patient person I highly suggest getting this professionally installed.Have used them driving around town & on a 6 hour road trip. I've noticed a few things.First I wish the reset between touch screen presses was faster. You can only press buttons so fast about 12 times a second. While this doesn't seem like a big deal it makes a difference for those who want to turn the volume up/down quickly cycle through pages on your ipod.Second making and receiving phone calls. If you have a disc playing it will pause the movie to switch to the bluetooth feature.
Gps map updates I installed this unit into a 2007 Ford Explorer. It took about seven hours including the back up camera also made by Pyle. Neither one had insallation instructions. The unit is telling me my gps maps are out of date and to go to naviextras.com for updates.I was also told by PYLE support to contact naviextras. Don't bother naviextras does NOT support this unit. I have contacted PYLE support again and am now told that the manufacture does the gps map udates. I was told to call them back in a month about a updated sim card. So far poor service and inacurate information.Just received this email response from Naviextras Dear Don Tillwe would like to inform you that the sent license is not valid.It seems that you became victim of software piracy as this license is used by a lot of cracked software. It is illicit and we cannot provide any support for it.Important it is NOT possible to legalise a cracked license as it is generated individually for each device. Great multimedia Head Unit I haven't had this unit long but it is a great multimedia unit so far. Love all the different connection it can do with your media and Navigation is also ok so far. A nice EQ control and wattage to push all interior speakers dispite not being a pioneer or clarion. The one thing I don't like is it had no installation manual but luckly I know how to install.

Great unit but not for the first time installer. I installed this unit in my 2006 Chevy Express and the install turned out great. I have installed hundreds of car stereo / navigation / mobile entertainment systems and this one really gave me a tough time. If you have never installed a unit like this or are at all hesitant DO NOT INSTALL IT YOURSELF. IT DOESN'T COME WITH AN INSTALLATION MANUAL. There is no metal sleeve for you to install in your dash and slide the stereo into most double din radios don't use this method. I had to custom fabricate mounting brackets and only used the face trim piece also had to be trimmed so the unit would fit inside out of the installation kit. This unit also has a lot of connections. You get the basic 4 speaker + power 2 sets of preouts front and rear 1 mono sub out. There is also the standard antenna input gps antenna input and ipod cable connection. It has an aux input right left and video backup camera input and 2 video out connectors. The unit also has a power antenna amplifier power backup light sensor and parking break connection. There are 3 other wires that I haven't been able to find any documentation on. These are labeled key 1 key 2 and key ground. I believe these are used for steering wheel controls or wired remotes possibly for the 2 video outputs.
DVD PLAYER doesnt work after 1 month !!!!!!! Hello Guys I am really dissapointed with this product. After 1 month I cant read any DVD Disc says BAD DISC.
worth every penny First of all Amazon is the best for their fast delivery. The product is everything and more.The radio I had prior not from amazon.com of course was more than twice the price and did much less. In case you're wondering don't by any BOYO products.If your looking for something with a bunch of features easy to install and very reasonable this is it.

Product Review Screen appears to be of poor quality flickers a lot when it is not playing DVDs . Actual product has a cheaper look compared to other top brands. Works well though.
Total waste of time After waiting for some time to get this item I was at a loss when I installed itonly to see its a total waste and crap. The only thing that works is the the radio and cd player. You can't watch DVDs only hear them the USB is just a blue screen when you plug anything in. I spent alot of time installing it and now I want to burn it because its not what is shown on the website. Better spend your money on something else.
Clunky and slow UI I had to return mine due to the design shortcomings described belowI think the previous reviewer K. modeste might not have known to connect the parking brake wire to ground. Not doing that disables most of the unit.I bought this mostly to play MP3s from an SD card and/or USB flash drive but both of these are unusable. I put about 8 GB of music on both and it has to read each for about 1 minute before it plays anything. Then if I switch to radio mode and back or turn it off and back on it has to start over and read it again.The touchscreen interface for selecting files and folders is clunky. It only shows partial file names and is difficult to scroll and select the desired file/folder. The interface also has long delays buttons that don't do anything and other sources of frustration.The DVD image quality is good but it seems kinda small to watch a whole movie on.I wished it had some other features that some other stereos have Bluetooth HD radio Display and lights that dim with the headlights or timeofdayAll of that said I must say the Amazon's return process is awesome. With just a few clicks they gave me a UPS label to print and I dropped it off at the UPS store. They said that a return shipping cost $8 I think will be taken out of my refund.

A stereo that does everything but nothing very well. Down to one star for crashing TWICE with the v1.5 firmware with my friends in the truck. I returned it to the store..I've had this unit for 8 weeks and I'm going to continue looking for something else. It had the potential to be an outstanding product but Parrot isn't getting behind their product. There seems to be only 1 or 2 developers fixing bugs and they aren't rushing anything. Parrot rarely participates in their own forums and complaints go basically ignored. Dozens of feature requests have been acknowledged but only a few implemented with the latest software update in which it's been 4 months since the last one.The Apps are a gimmick and don't do much. It seems Parrot only has several developers willing to create apps for it but they voiced their disappointment that this unit uses a very outdated version of Android and Parrot has no intention of updating it.Basically I feel like I paid to continually beta test a product. That said everything on this unit actually works as advertised until it locks up or suddenly reboots for no reason other than just listening to the radio.Don't take my word for it go visit the forums on their web site.
Nice radio decent price but has issues. I have an older Mercedes that needed an update to the radio. This radio fit the opening perfectly looks great and fits the style of the car as well as can be expected with none of the kaleidoscope of colors you normally see on an aftermarket unit. Plug fit the connector on my car perfectly with no mods and no adapters other than for the antenna. As far as the functions it works as advertised although with some issues. Radio works great sounds great love all the inputs and preouts for subs and amps. Basically anything you got you can connect to this. The phone part works with my iphone very well. Sound is clear on both ends and voice activation gets it right 9 times out of ten. Bluetooth audio works also but sometimes forgets what song you were on and just picks a random one to play. Plugging phone into ipod cable disables bluetooth audio. Cant tether phone to radio without buying a tethering plan for your phone. This may change with updates. Without a tethering plan it makes all the apps worthless so dont buy this radio based on the apps because you wont use them. If they ever get a GPS app that doesnt require internet access that would make this radio a 5 star IMO. Also the radio has a thirty second boot process.
A great product ! HelloI purchased the Parrot Asteroid recently and have been relatively happy with this product.However the setup and configuration was not so easy.. Trying to connect the 3G was a bitcomplicated however once it has been configured it worked with no problem and connectsin bluetooth instantly when I start up my car.
This product is loaded with bugs Dont waste your money. This is a piece of junk and after 2 months has been nothing but a headache. Parrot writes EVERY good review for this thing on amazon. They even ban you on their forums if you write negative things about the Asteroid on it.
Could be better but so far the best for he price It's great to see a different approach! Definitively it has the problems of being an early adopter on new technology. Sometimes the radio hangs and comes back after a while after a reset with a loud pop. My first reaction was trying to push the radio to the limits and it felt kind of limited.
Love Asteroid not happy with Amazon The Asteroid is awesome and should get much better with updates. sound quality is excellent and its very cool to be able to use all of the various sources though I've put all my music on an SD card. Amazon sent me a British Asteroid here in the US! I'm not happy about that as all of the apps are European.

Never been so disappointed in a product After waiting two months to finally get this radio I was really disappointed. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have had to reset the Parrot about 200 times in the last three months. I'm on my second unit and in both whenever I used the cable to hook it up to my ipod it would disconnect anywhere between 210minutes every time and this is even after I changed the cable three times. Even the pocket pcs' from 2003 didn't need this many resets! Out of the 56 apps that are in there only maybe one is worth using and that's if you get lucky and are able to set up the internet connection from your phone.Even when you have to reset it takes forever. Half the time driving for me is trying to reconnect my iPhone with the Parrot. I feel bad recommending the Parrot to my friend the first day I received it. Now I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. It's unbelievable that this company made a prototype early 2011 and still haven't come up with any new apps. Do not buy this Parrot $50 in dash receivers work better than this junk.
Dont Believe the Hype Pros great phone features good call quality on both ends phonebook download and voice commands work well.Cons Long boot time useless apps for internet connectivity iPhone works out of the box but android phones dont even though the thing is running android! NO NAVIGATION I REPEAT NO NAVIGATION FUNCTIONALITY. After spending more money than you usually would on a head unit the company tries to upsell you with their app subscriptions. Takes longer to adjust audio controls than any other head unit I have ever used ever. Linein cord supplied is thin and has poor shielding. The unit wont automatically play when its turned on you have to press a button every time.I am sad to say I regret my purchase. The concept sold me but the results leave much to be desired.
Test test test I've had Parrot handsfree before and the products that aren't stereos are very good. Parrot just wasn't meant to put out car stereos. They had an RK8200 that bombed and now I've read many comments about how buggy the Asteroid can be. Did Parrot TEST this thing before releasing ? Yes I know the sooner you release the sooner you make money. But come on Parrot if you put out buggy stuff in a rush it'll come back to bite you.

Good Value for the price I purchased this item to replace the builtin stereo in a recently acquired 5th wheel RV. Cost much less than factory replacement stereo. Sounds much better. Also includes DVD playing ability.
luks gud in da dash the screen luks gud in the dash o/s is a lil dumb. no clock wen listening to cdcds r only playable thru dvd mode. it takes about 5 sec's load loadit sounds alot betta than stock beautiful picture i dont think u can change the stupid background imageits the only thing seen while playin cds. the day i putt it in i got alotta of props frum friend and random people. sturdy piece of equipment. overall i lik it but im already plannin on gettin a better one.
Not too bad but not great either. I purchased this unit due to the clean exterior with minimal blue backlit buttons. When it wow factor this is not the unit for that. It has a lot of features but the actual software is basic bare bones. You have your usual bass treble fade and such but no screensaver and no animations. The thermostat looking volume indicator is cartoonish. I love the body of this one but the software of the PLD70BT is better. I will review that later. This one I could never get the RDS functions to work. So I just said forget it. The remote is pretty flat and not too big. Like a long credit card but thicker and the buttons flatter that typical tv remotes. Otherwise if you want a good touch screen and are using it for basics or with a back up camera. This is not bad but don't expect really nice display or great looking backgrounds.
crap/decent This double din has a good look to it but the fact is when it got to my house and i hooked it up the cd player did not work nor did it play movies from my sd card. All around crap on a + side it looks decent and plays music from my card but anything can do that.
Ok for now Plays okthe background pics are horrible and u can't change them. When first installed played dvds but usb didn't work at all. After awhile dvd only plays sounds no picturescan't find settings to fix.
good buy great price dont resist Just bought last Sunday. Shipping was beyond fast and came in great condition.If you buy the right wiring harness receiver and kit installation is a breeze. The backup camera isn't to hard to install either. Pretty much plug and play.

Great machine. Just read that review above. This unit does play DVD+R. I should know because I have made many music DVD's using +R disc's.The only draw back is not being able to FF MP3's. But to be honest thats a small issue for me.
Impressive Looking not userfriendly I have had this unit for a little more than 24 hours and am ready to write a review. This is a very impressive looking unit when you first see it but during use proves to be quite a disappointment.Strengths Nice clear display that shows video very well. Nice display for Mp3 playback Three lines that can scroll album title & artist name line 1 song title line 2 ID3 tag info as well time and track number line 3. Supports DVD Mp3 allowing you to fit hundreds of songs on one disk. Above average sound quality. Faceplate that is removable and can be adjusted to different angles for viewing. Gets lots of Ouuuuuuuu's and Ahhhhhhhh's when you show it off.Weaknesses Only supports DVDR will not read DVD+R or DVD+RW. Very slow loading Mp3 discs CDR & DVD. Changing audio settings is difficult since they are buried within menus. I have some songs that are very bassheavy that require be to turn the bass down while other songs are lacking in bass and require bass to be turned up. This simple modification is quite a pain on this unit. Mp3 songs start over every time the player is shut off. What this means is that if you want to quickly switch over to the radio then back to the player the song starts over. Every time you get out get in and out of the car the song restarts.

Loved It. I bought this unit plus the steering wheel control and XM radio after searching for months for the best unit in the market. I guessed I am lucky to buy it then because the price is half of what it's being sold for now. Had some problem with XM reception in some areas but otherwise it works great all the time. As far as the GPS there is actually a way of changing it's downward direction to point upward or direction where your car is heading to. It's on the touch screen. Anyway this unit is way better than my GPS factory installed in my 2008 BMW convertible or my previous 2007 Acura. Had no problem with bluetooth nor uploading my contacts at all. I recommend this to anyone.Just loved it. I can also watch video anytime but this I will only recommend to responsible drivers. THINK SAFETY first!!!!UpdateHad this unit for awhile now and it just suddenly quit. it will start booting as soon as I turn the ignition but die and seemed to lose the power to it.
AVICF90BT Slow and sluggish = Slug of a unit I think that all of the integrated features are nice. The music video bluetooth however the navigation is way too cumbersome and slow. I guess I noticed it more because when I drive my wife's car and use her unit the difference is more pronounced. The touch screen is very slow to respond and the updates are pulsy. I decided to update the maps with the latest s/w upgrade and found that the 3D feature doesnt show street names any longer unless you have it at a very close setting. So I have to use the 2D map setting to see street names I am very disappointed in the unit's performance. The engineers should have opted for faster memory like the higher end units than try and put something out like this.
Good product but.. Sounds great looks great but is slow you have to wait at least a minute to use it and it has many buggs and the firmware and support aren't good.
I have owned it since it first came out. This unit works great with the 3.1 firmware update. Much smoother and responsive.I love my unit I am a tech geek and this thing does the job.
Best bang for your $$$ Very happy with that I ended up with this product having done much research. Read alot of reviews that there were lots of issues with the F90BT booting really slow or crashing but I haven't come to any of it. The AVIC411.com forum really help make this product even better by giving information on installation and modifying tips and trick. Overall I would recommend this as I have had it for a month now installed and working perfectly.
For the price it can't be beat. This went into a 2009 Accord V6 with GexP1 HD radio tuner and an 80gig ipod. For a while I ran it as is having it power the factory speakers and I must admit it sounded pretty decent. These days it is fed though a pair of ARC amps pushing CDT components up from with Image Dynamics IDQ 10s in the back and while I wouldn't say this headunit is up to snuff for an SQ competition it does it's job well.For the price you can't shake a stick at this thing. Navigation with MSN Directyes I was a sucker MSN direct ends in a 2 years and I paid for lifetime. The MSN direct is very useful for commuters. It takes a while for it to get a signal but luckily I live a mile or so from the highway. By the time I get to the highway it has the MSN traffic and tells me whether or not to get on. This has saved me a brutal highway trip many times.Yes it is a little slow to boot it is windows. Sadly my phone my laptop my desktop my HTCP and even my car are windows lol. The 3.xx update speeds it up even more but introduces a few bugs that I didn't like. Currently I'm running a hybrid ROM that I cooked from a collection of ROMs on AVIC411.The screen is great quality I wish it would dim down just a little more at night. Even with a very dark custom theme the nav screen is a little annoying to me even set at zero. Make sure you calibrate it before complaining that it isn't accurate. Also putting custom POI and 3d building from AVIC411 makes this thing even sweeter.I have had the problem of sound not coming from the right channel on the ipod. I changed to a monster ipod cable and haven't had problems since. This is the sole reason for 4 star and not 5 but it almost deserves 5 for the price.I had trouble syncing the phonebook with my ATT tilt but have since upgraded to an HTC pure and the phonebook syncs with no problem. The call quality is stellar.Those that say this didn't come with the cable got the F900 and not F90.Overall this is a fantastic deck.
Good radio but not very sophisticated Radio works well it is well powered and fairly easy to use. I think that the reason it is wasy to use is because it is just very basic. I was very disappointed to learn that there just aren't many options and customization on this unit is very limited. The bluetooth connection is poor and I rarely use it connected to my cell phone to many complaints from the people I was talking to. Unfortunately this was one of my reason for purchasing the unit. The navi works well but I find that my portable Garmin Nuvi is far better with better directions. The navi does not allow many options or additional display of information. There are no visualization options either. All and all this is a decent unit and well priced. I have always been a prioneer fan and have owned several pioneer units which is why this one is a abit disappointing due to it's lack of options and capabilities.
BROKEN 3 times Sent to facotry twice DONT BUY DO NOT BUY!!!! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ITI have owned this unit now for over 2 years and it has spent more time in the factory being fixed than it has been installed in my truck. The first time it broke i have no idea what happened. I sent my vehicle to get the oil changed and when i got my truck back the radio would only display the Pioneer start up screen then instantly turn off. I called Pioneer and they have the worst system in the world to fix it.THERE ARE NO LOCAL PLACES TO FIX THE RADIO. YOU HAVE TO UNINSTALL IT SEND IT TO LONG BEACH HAVE THEM FIX IT AND THEN RE INSTALL IT BACK.well the first time i did not have a radio in my vehicle for over 2 months.I received the AVIC F90bt back and with an updated software version and it worked for 3 months.AFTER 3 months it STOPPED working again.
Some problems but good outweighs bad I've had this since June 09. Like other have stated it does take about 45 secs or so to boot on. For the first 20 secs you won't have any music then it will start playing whatever music you had playing when you cut it off last time. After 45secs or so you can then access the full menu. The Maps on this are from 2008 so you will encounter some roads that are missing or that it states are incorrect you can update the maps but it will cost you about $100!!!. GPS is good though and there are many options like avoid highway great when traffic is backuped on the highway hit those back roads! I never had much luck using the MSN updates on gas and weather. I tried the free trial and it would rarely load the data so I never extended my subscription. When I first got this it would randomly cut off but that problem has seemed to stop. But now it's coming back. It will freeze up sometimes after I finish a phone call and then some times it will reboot remember 45 secs reboot time randomly.But for the most part its a good system. Screen is really big and crisp and touch sensitivity works fine.
Might as well get a laptop it's cheaper! My avic F90bt is a buggy piece of crap. When I first got it inMarch '08 it worked ok with the 2.0 firmware only glitches here and there but nothing too big. I do a lot of roadtrip driving across the continent from Seattle to Ontario and back or a 4000 mile loop through the SW so the GPS and ability to insert my 16GB SD card for music was awesome. Then I made a huuuge mistake I shelled out $120 for the 2009 map upgrade and upgrade to the 3.0 firmware. Well that will teach me.Ever since I upgraded music from my SD card will not change songs while the map display or the music display is on screen. It will only move on to the next song on its own if I have the root menu on screen. I cannot skip a song if anything but the root menu is displayed. The touch screen does not work while an mp3 is playing unless the root menu is on screen. For what was originally a $1200 stereo this thing is a genuine POS. Shame on Pioneer for producing this pretty yet useless software interface.Let's say you want to go on a really long roadtrip I'm talking six weeks on the open road ten hours a day of driving. Having the option of inserting an SD card with 6000 songs on it for the trip sounds awesome right? Just slide that puppy in and hit random and you'll have songs for weeks. That's not how it works.

Great & Cheap bought this so I can play my ipod in the car via the aux input which my 2001 ford doesn't have on it's factory stereo. very easy to use and will definitely recommend.
2 defective units in a row I bought this unit about 6 months ago and the install went great and it worked solid for about 34 months. Then the rear right channel went out in the deck. I confirmed it wasn't the Amp or any intermediary wire so I submitted a RMA and Dual took care of it immediately and sent me a new one.It was the same unit so I kept all of the wiring in place and swapped it out. The new unit they sent me only works when Aux power is on but not when the car starts.
Easy install first i ordered it for 58 business day shipping but it arrived in 3 business which was awesome. really easy to install and operate. My only complaint and it is not Dual's fault is that the USB port does not work for any Apple product. Aux port does though. Other than that its a great radio.

Great value for money works really well and has a soft bloe dial which makes using very easy.I could not buy a similar radio in Australia for the same cost. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for a car radio. I have fitted mine into my caravan.
Nice Little Stereo Unit The biggest selling point that is for me of this unit is by far the USB port. While the auxiliary port enabling connections via digital music players is nice it is great to be able to transfer music to a flash drive and plug it in for easy playing. The songs essentially play like they would from a CD that is to say it will say track 1 2 etc. while flipping through them while also giving the artist name and song title assuming the track is labeled properly.The lighting of the display is also good despite what others have stated. The design is attractive and intuitive and the scanner for radio stations works fine. As radio and CD's are becoming more or less obsolete I've not tested the CD player or radio presets much other than to say they work.Definitely a good deal for the price about $58 at the time of my purchase.
Best aftermarket stereo I've owned except for audio CDs I've owned probably 810 aftermarket stereos in my driving life and I have to say this one is my favorite and it also happens to be the cheapest one I've purchased! Note see Edit below for update regarding audio CDsMy main gripe with aftermarket stereos is that they look flashy but the buttons are tiny and difficult to use. This Dual unit however has buttons that are more like the factory stereo buttons I find them larger easier to see and easier to push than most. I appreciate that the buttons have a nice tactile click feel when you push them so you actually know whether a button's been pushed. The volume wheel is very large and easy to use.I also appreciate that it simply WORKS! I've used it for about a month without incident. This is actually a replacement for a different aftermarket stereo a Clarion that decided it didn't like playing MP3s burned on CD. The Dual handles those same MP3 discs with no problems at all. I also love the option to play MP3s directly from a USB drive! This function works fine and I expect that I'll rarely need to burn MP3 discs in the future. Note that the USB port also functions as a charger for any of your gadgets that charge via USB nice feature and it frees up your standard 12V port for other gadgets/inverters/etc. I haven't used it with an ipod so I can't comment on that. The sound from this stereo is great speakers are definitely the limiting factor. It does seem like the EQ presets are pretty limited i.e. they don't sound all that much different from each other. The manual bass/treble controls are fine.The only thing I thought was odd is that the great big middle button marked select and with a power symbol is not actually a power button unless you hold it down?. With other stereos I'm used to hitting the power button to effectively pause a disc since most car stereos don't have dedicated pause buttons. With this Dual though if you just hit the select/power button it puts the unit in random mode and jumps to a track somewhere else on the disc.
Does NOT work with iPod Nano or Sansa View I bought this device mainly for the USB input port so I'm really disappointed that it doesn't work for two common MP3 players! Would not have bought it if I'd known since there are significantly cheaper car stereos otherwise.

Good Great product! I have it installed for a month worked nicely. The most favorite part is USB port which allows me to play mp3 from flash drive. Although it takes a while to find the song I want to hear it's still a good replacement for original player came with Corolla 03'. Let's see how long it's going to be functional before any issue as others complained on another model about panel display.

a troubled start Third time was the charm. Had to send the unit back two times before I got one that was working correctly. First one would randomly try to read a SD card that wasn't even in the unit. The second unit wouldn't play any sort of disc at all. The third one was the charm finally. It was sold through E&B Electronics and their service was top notch. Never an issue to get a replacement sent out.

Dead out of the box Poor support from Jensen When I went to install the unit it was dead out of the box. Audiovox they make Jensen was really good on their tech support. They identified it as a dead amplifier and said their customer support would have to take care of it. That is where the problems began. I provided customer support with the documentation that they needed and waited. Three weeks later I still had not heard back from them so I called and asked if I could start the process over. An hour on the phone and nothing. The rep refused to give me an email address to resend the documentation to her so I spoke with a supervisor who was marginally more helpful. They have the paperwork again so I guess I have to wait for them to do something.This is a pretty expensive paperweight. It would be nice to have something that worked.

Very pleased with slight catches The product works as advertised with the exception of two things. 1 Please stop advertising that this unit needs the BTM15 Bluetooth module. It clearly states in the instructions that it requires the BTM10. After suffering through ordering the BTM15 and not being able to have Bluetooth installed as it was advertised on Amazon I would rate the marketing of the product as slightly off base.2 The unit did not come shipped with a remote. I had to contact Jensen and they mailed one out immediately. Problem The remote doesn't work. It is either the battery is dead or a bad remote.Ordering a stereo should not be a headache.

Nice Deck I have been using this deck for a couple weeks now and it has performed all the duties that I bought it for. I can connect through the bluetooth in my iphone and listen to music through my radio wirelessly as well as use the speakers to hear my phone call. The only negative about this specific item is the bright blue color it can be distracting at night while driving.
a big thumbs DOWN This is my second unit after T had to send back the first one due to a broken wire at the back of one of the connectors right out of the box. I'll be sending back the second unit now because the internal cooling fan whines for a minute when its first turned on in the morning and now it randomly switches from radio mode to usb mode.The pros Its a fine boat anchor and a great way to throw away that extra money.The cons 1The units interface is complicated and the operating manuel ls lacking. 2If you have a chevy pickup or any chevy that has the same dash as my 2001 silverado does you will find that this unit's screen will not clear the shifter with the vechicle in PARK. 3While playing a IPOD shuffle the unit display's the songs on the screen by their FILENAMES in the ipod makeing it very difficult to find that song your looking for. 4unit has basic the bare minimum adjustments fadebalancetreblebass. None of which control the sub preout. 5To my knowledge this unit has basically nothing nice to display while it plays mp3s. Stare at the folders and files or turn off the screen seems to be the only 2 options. 6Bluetooth works but the person you call can barely hear you.I dont recommend this product at all. This has been a failed endeavor. Buy something else folks.

Like new condition! The item came very fast and although it was advertised as very good condition it came in the original box with every part in almost untouched condition. I bought this as a replacement for one that was stolen and I am very happy with it as it works great and was a great price.

This JVC DVD Receiver Rocks I have had this JVC KDAVX11 for about 11/2 years. It rocks. I picked up the backup camera accessory kit. Let me start by saying the screen is short from being too small it is large enough to see all the details in movies and music videos. The bluetooth phone works great and its microphone is very good. The backup camera is cystal clear. I had one of those wireless ones before this one blows them away. Even at night it is bright and clear. The Ipod connector is okay. The only problem with it is that you can't see more than one song at a time on the dispay. But what is amazing is the usb port. Connect a 20 gig usb drive with as many songs as you want and it will show up on the display in groups of 68 songs. Easly to scroll and pick songs. The only disadavantage is that if you have too much songs more than 10 gigsthen it will take about 20 seconds to read the drive. Also videos can be watched from your usb drive too. You will have to have a separate usb drive for video cant read multiple media music is dominant media. Hope this review help you.
Great Deal Great Product I hooked up this unit with no real problems. I was able to use another switch to act like the parking brake so that the movies would work without my truck being in park. My Ipod works great with it and the sound is perfect. I would recommend this product.
