a troubled start Third time was the charm. Had to send the unit back two times before I got one that was working correctly. First one would randomly try to read a SD card that wasn't even in the unit. The second unit wouldn't play any sort of disc at all. The third one was the charm finally. It was sold through E&B Electronics and their service was top notch. Never an issue to get a replacement sent out.
not what the description says The deck is not detachable at all. They even have a picture of a remote and this product does not have one at llpretty pathetic.
Good Purchase I bought this radio for my boyfriend as a christmas present and he was very happy It works perfectly and is just what he wanted.
Very pleased My first review I wanted to drop some info here since I looked all over the internet before purchasing this unit and could not find anything. Yes I bought blindInitially I was skeptical of buying something other than Pioneer as that's what I've had since Clarion went downhill in the late 90's. So far I am very pleased with this unit.

I added the camera no problem & it functions nicely turning on the unit to display the backup view even when the unit is off or interrupting what is displaying to show the rear view & returning off or to the dvd play afterward when taken out of reverse.Last thoughts if you want to use blue tooth navigation or ipod control review the added cost of those hardware parts & install all at once. Total cost will go way up. May be other options out there but for what you get this is a deal for 200 dollars.
Great buy So far this has a been a perfect receiver. For the price you can't beat all the features that are included. Also I love the option that you can add other options when you want to.
its great!! This Jensen TV was perfect!!! It doesn't affect your factory speakers and for first time in dash TV users this is a great starter for you. I truly recommend this product for anyone.
Dead out of the box Poor support from Jensen When I went to install the unit it was dead out of the box. Audiovox they make Jensen was really good on their tech support. They identified it as a dead amplifier and said their customer support would have to take care of it. That is where the problems began. I provided customer support with the documentation that they needed and waited. Three weeks later I still had not heard back from them so I called and asked if I could start the process over. An hour on the phone and nothing. The rep refused to give me an email address to resend the documentation to her so I spoke with a supervisor who was marginally more helpful. They have the paperwork again so I guess I have to wait for them to do something.This is a pretty expensive paperweight. It would be nice to have something that worked.
mack This jensen vm9224 receiver is unbelievably fantastic it has everything you need for a great pricei am very satisfied with this productit plays my dvds cd'siphone tunessd card musicphotos and usb flash drive musicyou just have to select what you want and there is the 3 band eq that can be adjusted to whatever frequency you like just click on the 1 of 2 icon and you go into another set of freq to adjustalso What i like is that you can add whatever you like whether its navigation bluetoothreverse cam etc.you can't go wrong with this unit for the price it's a steal.
Very pleased with slight catches The product works as advertised with the exception of two things. 1 Please stop advertising that this unit needs the BTM15 Bluetooth module. It clearly states in the instructions that it requires the BTM10. After suffering through ordering the BTM15 and not being able to have Bluetooth installed as it was advertised on Amazon I would rate the marketing of the product as slightly off base.2 The unit did not come shipped with a remote. I had to contact Jensen and they mailed one out immediately. Problem The remote doesn't work. It is either the battery is dead or a bad remote.Ordering a stereo should not be a headache.
