Great & Cheap bought this so I can play my ipod in the car via the aux input which my 2001 ford doesn't have on it's factory stereo. very easy to use and will definitely recommend.
2 defective units in a row I bought this unit about 6 months ago and the install went great and it worked solid for about 34 months. Then the rear right channel went out in the deck. I confirmed it wasn't the Amp or any intermediary wire so I submitted a RMA and Dual took care of it immediately and sent me a new one.It was the same unit so I kept all of the wiring in place and swapped it out. The new unit they sent me only works when Aux power is on but not when the car starts.
Easy install first i ordered it for 58 business day shipping but it arrived in 3 business which was awesome. really easy to install and operate. My only complaint and it is not Dual's fault is that the USB port does not work for any Apple product. Aux port does though. Other than that its a great radio.
Dual XDM6350 AM/FM/CD Receiver radio A very good looking radio. Great value for money works really well and has a soft bloe dial which makes using very easy.I could not buy a similar radio in Australia for the same cost. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for a car radio. I have fitted mine into my caravan.
Nice Little Stereo Unit The biggest selling point that is for me of this unit is by far the USB port. While the auxiliary port enabling connections via digital music players is nice it is great to be able to transfer music to a flash drive and plug it in for easy playing. The songs essentially play like they would from a CD that is to say it will say track 1 2 etc. while flipping through them while also giving the artist name and song title assuming the track is labeled properly.The lighting of the display is also good despite what others have stated. The design is attractive and intuitive and the scanner for radio stations works fine. As radio and CD's are becoming more or less obsolete I've not tested the CD player or radio presets much other than to say they work.Definitely a good deal for the price about $58 at the time of my purchase.
Best aftermarket stereo I've owned except for audio CDs I've owned probably 810 aftermarket stereos in my driving life and I have to say this one is my favorite and it also happens to be the cheapest one I've purchased! Note see Edit below for update regarding audio CDsMy main gripe with aftermarket stereos is that they look flashy but the buttons are tiny and difficult to use. This Dual unit however has buttons that are more like the factory stereo buttons I find them larger easier to see and easier to push than most. I appreciate that the buttons have a nice tactile click feel when you push them so you actually know whether a button's been pushed. The volume wheel is very large and easy to use.I also appreciate that it simply WORKS! I've used it for about a month without incident. This is actually a replacement for a different aftermarket stereo a Clarion that decided it didn't like playing MP3s burned on CD. The Dual handles those same MP3 discs with no problems at all. I also love the option to play MP3s directly from a USB drive! This function works fine and I expect that I'll rarely need to burn MP3 discs in the future. Note that the USB port also functions as a charger for any of your gadgets that charge via USB nice feature and it frees up your standard 12V port for other gadgets/inverters/etc. I haven't used it with an ipod so I can't comment on that. The sound from this stereo is great speakers are definitely the limiting factor. It does seem like the EQ presets are pretty limited i.e. they don't sound all that much different from each other. The manual bass/treble controls are fine.The only thing I thought was odd is that the great big middle button marked select and with a power symbol is not actually a power button unless you hold it down?. With other stereos I'm used to hitting the power button to effectively pause a disc since most car stereos don't have dedicated pause buttons. With this Dual though if you just hit the select/power button it puts the unit in random mode and jumps to a track somewhere else on the disc.
Does NOT work with iPod Nano or Sansa View I bought this device mainly for the USB input port so I'm really disappointed that it doesn't work for two common MP3 players! Would not have bought it if I'd known since there are significantly cheaper car stereos otherwise.
GREAT! Great head unit. works great in my blazer. easy to install. Have not had a problem with this unit yet.
False Advertising Item is advertised as USB IPod control. IT DOES NOT WORK WITH IPOD TOUCH or IPHONE. Do not buy this if that is what you want.
Good Great product! I have it installed for a month worked nicely. The most favorite part is USB port which allows me to play mp3 from flash drive. Although it takes a while to find the song I want to hear it's still a good replacement for original player came with Corolla 03'. Let's see how long it's going to be functional before any issue as others complained on another model about panel display.
