Priced Right for What it Offers Purchased this unit to place into a 2002 RSX. While the install was straightforward the size did not fit properly tight vertically and not wide enough to cover the opening. Had to return it but did check out its features while it was still in the car. In sum the functions are all there albeit some worked awkwardly. I did not actually used the GPS to guide but the GPS function does appear to work located the position and moved with the car's location. As to the remaining problems the major one was identified previously that the clock does not appear unless you enter into the GPS mode. I would think when the unit is idle it should at least show the time make itself useful. However I think I understand why this is not designed into the system. It appears that the software for different functions of the system are written by different people with different menu styles different setup screens and different navigating logic. This would apply to the radio the bluetooth the GPS the UBS music etc. The menu that holds everything together is itself another program with its own setup screen.Overall everything works as advertised. It would be nice if the unit has higher resolution but that would probably mean higher price. You just have to be willing to work with the menuing styles of various components of the system. Also be sure to size the unit to your car before you purchase to save yourself the hassle of returning when it does not fit exactly. It does come with an additional plastic frame that can cover small gaps so exact fit may not be necessary.
The All in One car stereo system. I had a lot of problems with my first unit. The store that sold this to me replaced the one with problems. It would jump between the AM and FM modes making it unusable. The second unit is free from defects and works just fine. That said The unit is very limited in functions and has bare bones features. The GPS is quite a pain and limited in functions. It told me I was at my location while I was still 3 blocks away. After working with technical support I downloaded and then installed an updated version of Points of InterestPOI.The Bluetooth feature does not store any telephone numbers or anything else though it does function as a unit. The DVD works fine. The touchscreen works very well. One problem or lack of display is the clock. You have to hold down a button on the remote for a couple of seconds and then it will show you the time.
Good for the price!! This unit worked right out of the box. Easy to installnoviceand came with all the connectors and adapters needed for an easy install. Depending on your vehicle you may need to purchase an additional adapter. The unit has the wiring color code on the top. First off the sound is fairly decent coming from a radio of this quality. The volume is great hardly no distortion when blasted. I have a 1999 Navigator w/subwoofer and rear camera input. The touch screen is Hard. I have to touch the screen several times or in a certain spot to activate that particular function. I set the screen several times still the same. DVD works well picture quality is very clear. The remote works well with the DVD also. To switch from different source input CD Radio etc. it's kinda of tricky and has a 35 sec delay when doing so. When using a SD function make sure your using a SDHC card. It takes forever for this unit to find the mp3's. The Navigation come and goes sometimes it boots up and sometimes it don't. Not sure why seems to be a SD card issue. When I changed the type of SD card works great. You MUST hold the NAV button a couple of seconds so you can activate this function. The navigation gives me a good location radius and seems to work flawless The rear view option is good. Once you install the camera this option is automatic when reversing. You must have the remote in order to operate certain functions. This unit has the basic's not much to brag about. For the price it's a MUST have.
