good but not great Review EDIT!!! [7/16/08]I am returning this unit for the following reasons Cannot search SD card by folder/albumsearching through 300 songs per disk is extremely frustrating. It says this is possible in the manual but it is not. Major issue with me! All presets are lost when faceplate is removed for more than a few hours. The controls are ridiculously difficult. ARRGHH!!! Needs more bassSorry VR3/Roadmaster you've failed me twice and STILL haven't replied to any of my emails or phone calls.End of EditI returned my bugriddled VR400 and ordered this one instead giving VR3 another chance. I love this unit! You get a lot for your $128 including free shipping. I don't even use the bluetooth yet need a new phone and the value is still great.There are a LOT of controls on this unit and on the remote. The menus can be a little tricky to figure out at first sometimes more than just a little but you get used to it. Keep your user manual in the car for awhile.This unit is far superior to the VR400 which I returned to WalMart. The VR400 skipped the beginning of all my SD songsthis one does not. The sound is a LOT better. I just now noticed that the user manual says it only supports 1GB SD cards but it does support 2GB.The radio has RDS which means it will display the name of the station you are listening to as well as song title and artist name. Maybe this is standard on most stereos now I don't know but I like it.
Best stereo ever This bluetooth car stereo is awesome! Works better than the stereo in our Ford Edge and the bluetooth sounds clear. If you dont have one get one! Also easy to intall and has an awesome look to it.
Poor purchase I purchased one of these last year the first unit came and didn't work at all the display had bars and nothing functioned on the unit. After trying to get customer service to replace the unit and had no response I sent in a bad review. At this time a representative from the service department contacted me and ask me to send the unit in and remove the review. Well I sent the unit back and as promised removed the bad review costing me $13.00 in shipping cost and they sent me a new unit. This one worked but only for five months.
Big product low Support UI just buy and install my radio couple of weeks ago it works great sound music and phone quality is great all functions work fine using the internal mic the call quality is good enough but using the additional mic the quality improves a lot. It only support a 1MB SD card but it works ok with my 2MB SDBut my device have a great issue any time I detach the front panel is restart to fabric default when I connected it again I lost all the configuration so I have to start all over again except the Bluetooth.
Good Value I own two of these bought the first and then needed the second one for other car. Once 1 of them froze but after pressing the reset button it worked OK. Otherwise a good unit that plays all media good Bluetooth for hands free has an excellent sound compared to a Panasonic unit I had before. Overall a very good value.

Great features some annoyances.. This is a car sterio that packs a lot of features into a DIN1 size. I put it ino my 1996 Mustang and hooked it up to the factory amp. To do that I also bought a wire harness kit at Walmart less than $10 and had to use the radio power ant lead to provide a radio on signal for the Bose factory amp as the radio itself does not provide a radio on lead.Pros Features bluetooth seems to work great see cons works with everything I've thrown at it including bluetooth from my phone talk and music SD cards USB drives MP3 CDs. It's wonderful to have the radio automatically muted when a phone call comes in.
Bluetooth CD/Bluetooth Receiver CD/USB1 VR3 This unit performed great and had ALL the features I was looking for and didn't find in other popular receivers for my car.
